BASIC STUFF:
My husband Tom & I have been married since 1988 and are the parents of two boys, Brad and Wes. Tom & I lived in Chester County, PA following college then headed to South Carolina for a few years and now we’re back in central PA with the majority of our family close by. I grew up and was “confirmed” in the United Methodist Church, then became and was married as a Presbyterian. When we moved back to PA, we struggled to find a meaningful and loving church home. A few good friends encouraged us to try Palmyra BIC. We’ve been here ever since and we love it!

BS in Business Administration from West Chester University in West Chester, PA
INTERESTS AND FAVORITES:
Places: The beach – any beach – any time of the year. A campfire - sitting around it enjoying time with my family and friends. Farrell Stadium on campus at West Chester - watching a football game after the leaves have started to change colors. My front door – listening to the peaceful world outside following a heavy snow.
Music: A little bit of everything; I like it all with the exception of most country music. Lots of 80’s music, praise music, rock, pop and Jimmy Buffett who is in a category all by himself!
Books: I love books and a great bookstore – could spend hours (and too much money) there! Wish I had more quiet time to read. I enjoy Max Lucado, Patsy Clairmont (so funny) & Marilyn Meberg (hilarious). I also really enjoy Jodi Picoult's compelling novels.
TV: AKA guilty pleasures... Brothers & Sisters, Grey’s Anatomy, Top Chef and Survivor. I would love to DVR shows on the Food Network (Giada at Home, The Barefoot Contessa, Five Ingredient Fix, etc.) but then I’d never get anything accomplished!
Sport Teams: West Chester & Penn State college football, Philadelphia Eagles, the Phillies, the Hershey Bears
Movies: Top Gun, Jerry Maguire, Father of the Bride 1 & 2, Cheaper By the Dozen 1 & 2, The Pursuit of Happyness and a time or two each year… The Sound of Music!
Hobbies: Cooking, reading, spending time with family, riding bikes, walking, playing tennis
Dislikes: Bullies, disrespect, the chore of having to clean up the kitchen after a great meal & anything involving eggplant.
Odd Fact: I’m a night-owl by nature. I love to stay up way too late while the rest of the house sleeps. This drives my early-bird husband crazy!
LIFE SCRIPTURE:
I love Ephesians 2 about being made alive in Christ, especially verses 4-5 which read, “But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. It is only by God's grace that you have been saved!" (NLT)
