Who will see my pledge amount?
The only people who will see the amount of your giving will be the Financial Staff.
What if I sign up and want to give money for a special offering?
You just bring a check or cash for that special offering. If you have a numbered envelope, you simply use your envelope just the way you regularly give now.
What if I still feel a need to participate in the offering each week?
Simply mark your envelope with the phrase, "I gave electronically" and place it in the offering.
How much does this cost the church?
There is a very small cost per transaction. The experience of our church and other churches shows that the cost is well worth the benefit of the service.
Does the church leadership support this?
Absolutely! There was a day when writing a check, rather than giving cash, was a new way for churches to receive offerings. This is a similar change that understands that the way finances move in our culture is changing. There will come a day when children will ask, "What's a check?" Therefore, we believe electronic giving is a matter of "when", not "if". And, we believe now is the time to give you this option.
Will I receive a receipt for my giving?
Yes, you will continue to receive a year-end receipt of your giving.
